Hello Ohio,

My name is John Pardee and I am the Interim President of the Ohio Rights Group, a rapidly growing group of political activists who are determined to change Ohio to allow patients to use cannabis for therapeutic uses as well as allow for the development of a vast array of Hemp Industries in the buckeye state.  We have been very active behind the scenes drafting the language of our proposed constitutional amendment and building our network of volunteers, donors and high profile advocates.  This mission has really gathered steam since the victories of similar measures have passed in other states and public opinion shows wide support for medical cannabis in Ohio, well over 70% when last the state was polled.  Our ballot initiative has the added bonus of garnering support of the agricultural and manufacturing and energy sectors due to our inclusion of legalizing industrial hemp growth and production.  Ohio was First in Flight and we could also be First in Hemp, giving us the tactical advantage of making Ohio the hub of the coming hemp commodities markets.  There are literally 50,000 uses of the hemp plant and the application of these uses will mean many new jobs for our state and a mountain of new revenue for Ohio based farmers, industries and the State Treasury.  But right now, we are lacking in one very important ingredient; you!  We need your help and support.  We need volunteers to help us gather signatures to place this measure on the ballot.  We need donors, people who can spare $5, $25, $100 or more to help fund this important work.  We need on line activists, people who are proficient in spreading our message on facebook, twitter and writing blogs or letters to the editor in support of our cause.  The time is now Ohio.  We've done the job of creating a solid platform on which to build our movement and now we need your help.  Please sign up today and do whatever you can to make this a reality in Ohio.  Change requires action.  It is time to stand up Ohio and let's make history together.
